Peace Corps Volunteers have served in more than 200 cities, towns and villages in Ethiopia and Eritrea. Click on a name below to learn more about the community, where it is and who served there.

• Some communities have several names, and variations on the spellings. The one most frequently used by the Volunteers was chosen, but the variations are listed on the individual pages.
• The name of the province the community was in during the '60s and '70s is shown in brackets.
• On each community page we have a link in the "Location" line titled "More." This link takes you to "The Global Gazetteer," presented by Falling Rain Genomics, Inc and the page for the community which shows the longitude, latitude, altitude and weather, as well as three topographical maps.
